Workin It!
I’m going to intensify my workouts by truly zoning in on the 5 second slow reps and adding weight. I am noticing significant gains in strength already and this is just workout number 2! I attribute this to the constant disciplined flow of protein and supplements, but maybe also to the fact that I didn’t overwork the muscles previously and gave them plenty of rest. It’s still too early to tell officially.
The interesting thing is this experiment to me is sparking self-improvement by truly taking control over at least one thing in my life. If you do this the rest of your life will begin to sync up. This goes along with the famous book “Awaken the Giant Within” by Tony Robbins that I just started.
I’m a huge skeptic and the overtly positive language is sometimes hard for me to get into however the principles of re-programming the way you think are invaluable. Simple changes in your chosen adjectives, metaphors, to a more positive or substantial one makes your mind work for you in changing your outlook. Doing all of these things help build the right frame of mind to achieve goals. When you do this (and this sounds crazy) you might just notice that the world will start lining things up for you. It’s synchronicity.
