Writer’s Pages and the Experiment Continues
I’ve started an activity that was highly recommended by many many people in the book “Tools of Titans” by Tim Ferris. An alarming number of these successful people read (and gifted to many others in turn the book “The Artist’s Way”. By Julia Cameron.
The book is good so far. As a warning it is very spiritual in the narrative (which I’m not a terribly spiritual person) but I am using the general philosophical principles within. I am working through the actual activities in the book to include writers pages…writing 3 continuous stream of consciousness.
I’m 2 days into this activity. The interesting thing is you can maybe pre-plan 4 paragraphs of thought before being forced to write whatever else. I found that the worst most self deprecating stuff is coming out onto the paper BUT I am free of it afterwards and it leads to many interesting conclusions.
Many days into Awaken the Giant Within (ATGW). In fact I’ll have to make a list of all the books I’ve read over the last year dealing with self-improvement and productivity. About to do the next workout. Just waiting out the prescribed 30 minutes after the pre-workout Body Quick supplement.
I just did the measurements and surprisingly I’ve gone down to 211.0 lbs even. I’ll be sure to redouble the protein intake though I actually see this as a good thing. I definitely feel stronger and healthier. I’m going to go heavier today. I’m definitely easing into the weights. I feel good though. I shouldn’t say I didn’t expect one thing or another I just have positive expectations… regardless of the numbers result.
I’ve got protein bars stocked everywhere by the way. I’ve got them at home, in my car, in my office. I’ve also got protein powder at work. I’ve also learned from the day one botch that I need to bring all of the supplement bags with me everywhere just in case something happens to the day where the schedule is slightly challenged.
I’ll be sure to list all of the books I’ve read in the last year.
I’ll also be sure to list all of the larger productivity activities I’ve done.
That workout was by far the most intense yet, and I feel wonderful!-
